You don't hear much about Pyrrhus but Alexander is well known.

Dying aged 46 or 47, Pyrrhus lived a much longer life than Alexander the Great did, yet despite his obvious skill in arms, he failed to establish a large empire as Alexander did, and one can only wonder why.
