When I was in my teens and early 20s, I worked out 6 days a week, then changed the cycle to 3 or 4 times a week since I ran a lot. Recovery was never an issue until the past few years. Now I work out 3 times a week and sometimes my body takes longer to recover. So I may add an extra day to recover. I normally go Tues, Wed, Thu so if I 'm still sore, I'll start on Wed instead.
