Medium Changed the Platform and this Will Cost You More Time

Time is one thing you lose and will never get back.

Medium writers are complaining about the new format change. I have yet to see any writer like the new update.

After spending time today to respond to recent messages, I noticed a big problem that will cost writers more time based on the changes. So this is not good news for any Medium writer.

I rarely write about Medium but have a few times in the past. When you write about Medium, you usually won’t get published in some Medium publications.

As I mentioned briefly, Medium’s news changes will cost you as a writer more of your valuable time.

I really don’t think Ev Williams considered this. This could hurt the platform rather than help it.

As a writer, I value my time. I don’t like to waste it. Time is one thing you use and never get back.

With Medium’s update, this may push writers away and possibly cause them to spend less time on the platform.

To me, Medium is a community. You have writers you know and connect with. Then they know you as well. It’s a great reciprocal relationship.
