I started investing and liked the idea of FIRE before it ever became popular. Who wouldn't want to retire before they turned 60? I read Millionaire Fastlane and that opened up my eyes to what is possible.

Currently, I get a military retirement and only work a few hours a day and far from retirement age. So a person has to stay busy doing something.

I wrote an article maybe a year ago about centurions. If you want to live to 100, you need to stay busy and eat healthy. Watching Netflix all day won't do it.
