Just as the US government is finishing its first stimulus plan released in the middle of April during the corona virus epidemic, a second stimulus plan is working its way through Congress.
The corona virus has disrupted people’s homes, lives, and businesses in the United States.
Representatives Ro Khanna (D-CA) and Tim Ryan (D-OH) submitted this bill since some people were left out of the first stimulus.
This bill is aimed to cover those who were not eligible the first time. So will this next stimulus cover more people? Let’s find out.
Who’s eligible for the stimulus
So let’s see who was covered the first time the stimulus was released.
The first stimulus covered people if you earned less than $98,000 as a single filer or $198,000 as a married/joint filer, then you qualified for a stimulus check.
This was based on your 2018 or 2019 tax return.
Many people left out in the previous stimulus will be covered in this version.
