Last weekend, I went to the movies with my kids and saw “Captain America Brave New World”. Both of them liked the movie.
My daughter, who has been catching up on Marvel films, kept me up to speed during the movie since my Marvel knowledge was outdated. I watched the movies but it was years ago.
The movie seems to have broken the string of Marvel flops as it ended the weekend with $88 million surpassing “The Marvels” ($46 million), “The Eternals” ($71 million), and “Thor: The Dark World” ($85 million).
“Brave New World” faired well compared to previous Captain America films.
- “Captain America: The First Avenger” ($65 million)
- “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” ($95 million)
- “Captain America: Civil War” ($179 million)
In “Brave New World”, you won’t see Chris Evans as Captain America. Anthony Mackie took over as Sam Wilson in the movie. The classic red, white, and blue costume was updated with more tools for Mackie.
