Are Your Sales Tactics Working?

With part of the US practically in a standstill because of the corona virus, sales have become hard or almost nonexistent for people using sales in the traditional face to face method. The quarantine and spread of this virus is hampering some sales agents who use this tactic.

After many years of failure, experimenting, trying different sales positions, I had a breakthrough month in March this year. I closed 10 sales and all of them were over social media. Some were cold calls with complete strangers while the majority were people I already had a relationship with.

Not many people like sales but sometimes you follow what your sales coach teaches you or try out another method you learned watching what a Grant Cardone video. There are many ways to close a sale but first you need to have the right tools to make the sale.

Early sales job

My first sales job was working at a sneaker store over spring break when I was in high school. For some reason, I thought people would come up to me and I’d make a sale. I’m sure you know how this turned out. My first week as a salesman was a horrible week. I didn’t shatter any records and I wasn’t asked to come back.

I learned I had to speak up more which is a key for any salesman but also not to be the obnoxious salesman that no one wants to talk…
