An inside look at the new program.

LinkedIn image by Kevin Phillips from Pixabay

Online platforms are in a rush to capture your attention, and LinkedIn is rolling out their latest feature. The LinkedIn Creator Program currently sends users an invite. I happened to get an invitation to join recently.

There is no restriction on gets invited but an essential item is you have to be active on the site.

LinkedIn creators can be members, organizations, and companies who regularly share content with their professional community to build their reputation, grow their business, and/or empower and educate others with their experiences.”

Over the past year, LinkedIn has seen growth on its platform by 50%

These are the 3 tips I used to see a 20X return.

The last 6 months have been great for me, and I will share how I avoided the writing slump that most writers face. Life takes you on a crazy ride, and you have to learn to drive with it and not against it.

Too many people let life take them down. Mentally you need to be prepared for what life throws at you.

The year 2020 was bad for everyone. The coronavirus shut down the economy. Businesses closed temporarily, and some closed for good. Students were learning virtually, and teachers were pushed in a new direction.

For me, I had…

The crazy times we live in make me dress nicer than wearing an old t-shirt.

Dress shirt photo by Ozone Jeydin from Pexels

In most of my online photos, you’ll see me wear a polo or dress shirt. Normally, I’m comfortable wearing a t-shirt and sweatpants.

The big question is why do I wear a polo or dress shirt?

It’s because of one disgusting word that makes the news almost daily.

Racism.

If you’re white, you could walk into a store in a t-shirt and jeans and no one would say a word to you. As a minority, it’s a different story. Wherever you go, someone is always watching you.

The other day, I had to make a quick trip to Walmart. I…

This could be one of the worst moves you ever make.

Kim Kardashian image by Sourav Aich from Pixabay

A few months ago, Kim Kardashian made news about promoting a cryptocurrency on her Instagram page with 255 million followers. Kim was a sponsor to promote a cryptocurrency.

What was interesting, the cryptocurrency wasn’t Bitcoin. It wasn’t Ethereum, and it wasn’t Cardano or Solano.

The cryptocurrency Kim promoted was a penny crypto. This was a cryptocurrency that was worth less than a penny.

Anything that looks that cheap looks like a bargain to anyone not familiar with the cryptocurrency industry. People imagine they could be rich if they get in early and invest in this penny crypto.

Their emotions run…

How you can begin niche writing in three steps.

Writing photo by Artem Podrez from Pexels

When you start writing about a niche topic, you question if this is the right decision or not. Some writers mention the pros and cons to specialize your writing on one particular topic. In reality, it all comes down to what do you really want.

First, let’s start off with what is niche writing?

“A freelance writing niche is a specialization in either a topic or a content type.”

“A topic is “what” you write about, and it’s probably the first thing you think of when you think of a niche. Examples include personal finance, digital marketing, and technology.”

Smart…

It’s all fun and games until someone gets hurt.

When your child tells you about a new Tik Tok prank, you know it will not be good news. My son came home the other day and mentioned new prank kids were playing at school.

He said some kid or kids were taking all the toilet paper out of the bathroom stalls.

Other cases involved taking the hand sanitizer dispenser from school property.

These and other “jokes” are trending across America.

If you’re not familiar, Tik Tok is one of the hottest social media apps where people share short videos.

This latest trend started on September 1 when Tik Tok…

Hello fellow writers,

It’s not Sunday yet, but I decided to share my thoughts with you a few days early. It’s been a busy week for me.

I have been absent from writing on Medium this week. I’ve only written three articles considering today is the sixth day of the week.

Honestly, I have placed more emphasis on NewsBreak and freelance writing gigs that have popped up. Some people complain about NewsBreak for the loss of base pay but like the title of my publication, Life is Like a Game. Writing is the same way.

Then I have written two…

There were no lottery winners on this list

I finished reading an article in Forbes magazine's August/September issues on the 100 richest women. Surprisingly, there weren’t a lot of similarities among the women from the details provided.

After doing a breakdown on the fields that these women made their millions and billions of dollars, there was a trend in a few fields these women were involved in.

The top field for women was finance and the internet. A total of 10 women were involved in finance and the internet, which helped them make this list.

Most of the women were self-starters and created their own wealth. …

Create your writing process to achieve your huge goal.

Photo by Polina Kovaleva from Pexels

After a year, I wrote well over 365 articles in a year. It’s closer to 500 + articles. This sounds like a lot, but it really wasn’t. You have to make writing a priority in your life.

There are 24 hours in a day, seven days a week, 365 days in a year. This adds up to 525,600 minutes in a year. If you figure it takes you an hour to four hours a day to write, you can do it.

You need to retrain your mind as well as your habits. Today, you may not be able to do…
